Bruce Tasker

Bruce and his wife, Linda have three children. Bruce was elected to the Council in 1998 and to the postion of Mayor in 2010.  He retired from Carson City-Crystal Schools after teaching for 35 years.  Bruce is a member of every standing and appointed committees:

Russ Stanton

Russ and his wife, Sally Guy Stanton have four children. He was elected to the City Council in 2008.   He is retired from General Motors Powertrain Engineering.  Russ is on the following committees:

Dan Cusack

Dan and his wife Eve have two children. Dan 2006 he was elected to the council.  Dan is on the following committess:

Shane Grinnell

Shane and his wife, Kelly, are residents of Carson City. Shane was elected to the City Council in 2008. Shane is employed with Montcalm County Emergency Services as the EMS Station Technician/Lieutenant. Shane is on the following committees:;

Carl Brune

Carl and his wife, Shelly, have five children.   Carl was elected to the City Council in 2010.  His is employed at McKinley Trucking as Vice President.   Carl is on the following committees:

Neil Kapustka

Neil and his wife Heather, have four children. Neil was elected to the City Council in 2008.  He is employed by the State of Michigan as a Corrections Officer.  Neil is on the following committees:

• Streets and Sidewalks Committee (Chairman) 

Starr Miller

Starr and his wife, Beverly, have three children. Starr was elected to the Council in 2004. He retired from the State of Michigan Corrections Department after 30 years of service. Starr is on the following committees;

Mark Borden

Mark and his wife,Susan,have two children. He was appointed to the position of City Administrator in 2008.

Bonnie Schafer

Bonnie has three children.  Bonnie was appointed to the position of City Comptroller in 2009.
