West
Park
West Park is located on M-57 at the West edge of the city. West Park was converted
to a City Park in 1996. It consists of approximately 20 acres. Included in the
park is a 1/2 mile walking trail, a 1/4 mile walking trail, and a Leathers Play
Ground for children. The ??? square foot playground was built in ??? entirely
by community volunteers. Also in the park is a sand volleyball area, a basketball
area and several individual picnic tables. West Park is bordered on the east
by Fish Creek, which is a designated Trout Stream and on the west by Butternut
Creek.
